Arc is a local homeless charitable organisation, supporting over 350 people per year. Our mission is to offer supported accommodation where people can be inspired and empowered by their own strengths.As well as providing accommodation, Arc aims to ensure no-one has to spend more than one night homeless.

We offer high-intensity supported housing though Lindley House, our 43-bed hostel in Taunton with 24/7 onsite staff, and through our 14 "Satellite" properties, HMOs in Taunton and Bridgwater, with lower-level support for people moving towards independence.
Each client receives 1 to 1 support from our Housing Support Workers who work to create a journey of recovery. Once a client is ready we help clients move into independent accommodation with schemes such as the Move-in Fund and Tenancy Sustainment Support.
We offer a range of services ourselves and through our partners and volunteers including medical care, mental health care, addiction support, dentistry, veterinary services for clients' dogs and a range of activities for our clients including an allotment.
Who can use this service?
We can accept referrals for single people aged 18 and over who are homeless or are at risk of homelessness, who have a Local Connection to Somerset and have recourse to public funds. Referrals for Armed Forces veterans or people fleeing domestic violence do not require a Local Connection.
