Chat & Map is a free service for older people aged 60+ in Somerset and North Somerset who may be experiencing financial difficulties or concerns about money. Using a holistic, person-centred approach, a member of the Age UK Somerset team visits eligible clients at home to explore everyday challenges and identify practical solutions. Support may include help with rising bills, debt, housing, care costs, loneliness, or accessing local services. We treat every individual as unique and can connect clients with Age UK Somerset support or other relevant organisations.

Age UK Somerset is part of the Crisis & Resilience Fund Alliance and is providing help for older people in financial need in a number of ways. This could be through help with benefit claims for example, or with small amounts of financial assistance depending on an individual's circumstances.
