Age UK Somerset - Wellbeing Service
Our Wellbeing Service helps older people in Somerset and North Somerset feel connected, supported and heard. We offer three types of support: Walk and Talk, Wellbeing Friends and Friendly Phone Calls. Through our wellbeing services, we match older people with friendly volunteers who provide companionship, conversation and a valuable connection to the outside world through regular visits, calls or walks. By building meaningful friendships, the service helps reduce loneliness and isolation and improve wellbeing. The service is volunteer-led, so availability may vary in some areas.
